The Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed by the Government of Costa Rica and the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF) on September 11, 2013. This paper includes the FCPF’s intention of buying from Costa Rica an amount of up to U.S. $ 630 000 000.00 as far as Costa Rica meets the agreed requirements.
